The Center fosters an atmosphere of learning and inclusiveness, emphasizing cross-cultural appreciation and commitment to social justice. Our programs illustrate our dedication to the pursuit of education in an environment that values multiculturalism as an essential element of a high quality education and healthy campus community.

Events

The DSCC hosts film screenings, dance lessons, cooking classes, workshops, community gatherings, and much more! If you would like to be on the DSCC mailing list and receive weekly event announcements, please email dscc@colorado.edu and indicate whether you are a CU student, faculty/staff, or community member. You will automatically be added to the list.

The Dennis Small Cultural Center Lending Library

The DSCC has a small collection of multicultural literature that is available for CU students, faculty, and staff to borrow. To browse our collection, stop by our Center in UMC 457 or click here for a list of titles.

If you have a valid Buff OneCard and would like to check out a book, stop by UMC 444 or email dscc@colorado.edu.

Do you have used books that you’re interested in contributing to our collection? Email us at dscc@colorado.edu or drop books by the UMC 2nd Floor Reception desk, attn: DSCC. Any books that we are unable to use will be passed on during literacy drives on campus. Thank you!
